French and Spanish lessons for primary schools. Powerpoints with sounds, lesson sheets, assessments, lesson plans, songs, games, everything for great MFL lessons. From Y3 (2ng Grade) to Y6 (5th Grade). Teachers don't need to speak the language to use those lessons, they can learn at the same time as their pupils thanks to the sounds embedded in the Powerpoints. Everything is planned for the teachers so they don't have to plan for the whole year! There are samples on both French and Spanish pages so people can download and see from themselves what they would get if they subscribe.

Digimap for Schools

Digimap for Schools is an online mapping service for use by teachers and pupils. It is a collaborative venture between the University of Edinburgh and the Ordnance Survey that seeks to improve pupils mapping and data handling skills. It is a truly cross curricular resource that can be used in numeracy, literacy, history, geography, PE and along with your Daily Mile or Eco-schools activities. It allows teachers and pupils to easily customise and personalise their maps with annotations and photography that really make the maps come alive.

Numerule

The Numerule is a hands-on number manipulation ruler. It is important that young children are able to feel and see maths in action as we teach them. The starting maths equations using smaller numbers (1 to 30) are vital to commit to our memories to use later with harder maths concepts.
We call these The Basic Number Facts. They are as important to maths as the alphabet is to reading and writing. Children need to commit to memory the Basic Number Facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to be able to fully grasp the harder concepts as they further their maths education. It also needs to be done in such a way that children can make mindful connections between their hands-eye senses and their memories. The Numerule is a concrete (hands-on) teaching aid that allows hand-eye mathematical manipulation of these operations, with the added reinforcement of symbolic number recognition. We provide books for children in the 7 – 12 age range. Our Time Traveller Series has 13 titles written by different authors. Our most successful title is:
‘Time Traveller Danny and the Codebreaker’. This features the now well-known cryptographer, Alan Turing.
We are due to release a Special Commemorative Edition in September (delayed by 6 months because of the virus pandemic) We included in this book pieces of writing and poems by the children and young people who sent in writing in response to our challenge of 2018. Bletchley park has always stocked this title.
We think the lines are blurring between writers and readers, and to that end we often offer opportunities for writing and illustrations by children and young people to be included in our book production.
Teachers have taken our books all over the world. I have included a picture taken by a teacher from a Brighton primary school visiting a partner school in Uganda. She took copies of our book ‘Does the Tardis Have a Carbon Footprint?’ with her on her visit.
Most importantly we are caught between a fascination with the past and the world we are moving towards which can never be known but is often written about in science fiction. Our Time Traveller Series, now with 13 titles, celebrates our UK heritage and raises questions about mankind’s survival.
